These posts include pieces of my own life and history so readers know I am not approaching these questions from a sheltered distance. That matters to me. When someone speaks about suffering or the problem of evil, I want to know they understand the subject from inside the pain, not only from a book. Some questions are born from life experience, and some answers carry more weight when they come from someone who has had to live them.
